A ‘Behind the Scenes’ walk and Bird Ringing #LoveNature
May 26, 10:30 am–1:00 pm
Join Will Kirby, Ranger with the Trust’s Land’s Team, on a ‘behind the scenes’ walk around St Ouen’s Pond and its environs. Will will introduce participants to places with strange sounding names such as ‘Bob’s’, ‘the Scrape’, ‘Eddie’s Hide’, ‘the Bath and Rock fields’ and ‘the north and south canals’ to name but a few….
As part of Will’s walk, weather permitting there will be the opportunity to observe Cristina Sellares from Birds on the Edge as she and her fellow helpers ring birds. Find out why we ring birds and what this tells us about them.
Please wear suitable walking shoes.
