The National Trust for Jersey hosts a variety of events and activities throughout the year that offer unique opportunities to enjoy our island in a special and memorable way.

Black Butter Making
October 18, 10:00 am–9:30 pm
Peeling will start again at 10 am until late! Stirring of the apples and other ingredients will commence mid-morning in the Bake-House over the large ‘bachin’ (copper basin) over a roaring fire which will be lit in the early hours of Friday morning and will continue all night until Saturday lunch-time. Volunteers are invited to peel, stir or contribute to the community supper which will take place on Friday evening with live music.
