July 30, 10:00 am–12:00 pmFree - £10.00
Starting at L’Etacq, your guide Nicky Mansell will be looking at the features which show that sea level and climate change is nothing new and the Anthropocene (the age of man) is upon us. Nicky will start by examining a major geological boundary marking over 200 million years of rock formation. We will also see bunkers and guns from the Occupation in WWII, one of Jerseys Mesolithic sites at Canal du Scez and finally The Pinnacle, an amazing natural menhir with Neolithic, chalcolithic and Roman remains. From here we will return to L’Etacq. Good walking footwear essential. This will be between 2 and 3 hours long
