From Bach to Piazzola – A recital for violin and marimba at 16 New Street Georgian House

The Trust is thrilled to be hosting local percussionist Eva Hsieh and acclaimed violinist Jonathan Hill for an intimate recital at 16 New Street Georgian House. This is a rare opportunity to attend a thrilling concert in distinct acts featuring works by Baroque composer JS Bach, Romantic composer Jules Massenet, Argentinian Tango composer Astor Piazzolla and marimba virtuoso Ludwig Albert. Not to be missed!
Jonathan Hill is guest leader and soloist for many orchestras, including the Royal Philharmonic,the BBCSO and Ballet Rambert. He is a signed artist for EMI Classics and contributed to the soundtracks of a plethora of blockbusters including The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit. Jonathan has been lead violinist of Les Miserables at the Queen’s Theatre in London since 2011.
Eva Hsieh completed her Postgraduate diploma in advanced performance with a distinction at the Royal College of Music in 2010. Eva currently teaches percussion and piano at the Jersey Academy of Music.
