Join historian Peter Le Rossignol for a vibrant cultural history of Britain’s most iconic drink, beginning in the underbelly of Georgian England, detouring through the Empire (with a G&T in hand) and finishing in the modern day. During the course of the evening, gin lovers will find out how ‘mother’s ruin’ evolved into the superior drink it is today and also taste several different types of gin.
