Tawai – A Voice from the Forest (film) #LoveNature

25 May 2018, 7:00 pm9:00 pm

Bruce Parry - Tawai

Come along to the Frances Le Sueur Centre in St Ouen’s Bay to enjoy this film and have a glass of wine as part of the #LoveNature festival.

Tawai is the word the nomadic hunter gatherers of Borneo use to describe their inner feeling of connection to nature. In this dreamy, philosophical and sociological look at life, explorer Bruce Parry (of BBC Tribe, Amazon and Arctic fame) travels the world to learn from people living lives very different to our own.

From the jungles of Malaysia to the tributaries of the Amazon, Tawai is a quest for re-connection, providing a powerful voice from the heart of the forest itself.
