Turkey Buster Walk New Year’s Day
1 January 2020, 11:00 am–12:30 pmFree
Join your guide Bob Tompkins on New Year’s Day on the Turkey Buster walk around the National Park in and around St Ouen’s Bay. The ‘Turkey Buster’ provides an opportunity to clear fuzzy heads and lose a few Christmas calories in the process before starting again on New Year’s Day lunch!
Meeting in the carpark at Les Laveurs on the Five Mile Road (opposite Jersey Pearl), the walk will follow the coastal path as far as the Square Fort where we will cross the road and drop down into the Maritime Grassland on the edge of St Ouen’ Pond. Skirting Le Noir Pré we will cross over Chemin de l’Ouziere and ramble through the undulating landscape of Les Mielles before arriving at the Frances Le Sueur Centre. Meet Mike Stentiford MBE and hear about the future plans for the Centre and the National Park after which chocolates and a nip of Sloe Gin will be available to fortify everyone before returning to the carpark.
No need to pre-book – just turn up on the day.
