Regrettably The National Trust for Jersey has closed its offices at The Elms for the foreseeable future and delayed the opening of 16 New Street until Friday 1 May to help in the Island’s efforts to slow down the spread of the coronavirus.

The Trust’s outdoor areas of natural beauty remain open to the public and we wholeheartedly encourage Islanders to enjoy open space, if appropriate, while adhering to the government’s social distancing guidelines.

Charles Alluto, CEO of the National Trust for Jersey, says:

‘The National Trust for Jersey was founded in 1936 to protect Jersey’s natural beauty, rich wildlife and historic places for ever and for everyone. Over the coming weeks, we will do all that we can to continue to provide public benefit through caring for our lands and historic buildings thereby giving our community access to nature, beauty and history.’

We would like to advise our supporters and volunteers that you can still keep in touch with us by phone, email and social media.

Thank you for your understanding and support.
