National Trust for Jersey Education Program

Education

Our varied educational programme includes guided walks and a range of activities for children.

The National Trust for Jersey’s extensive and exciting education programme aims to engage families and schools with the natural environment.

Through a range of activities, including Rockpool Rambles, Bug Safaris and Woodland Wonders and other seasonal events, children and adults alike are invited to discover and learn about the unique flora and fauna that inhabit our island, plus the affects of climate change and biodiversity loss.

With the generous support of Jersey Electricity, these events are offered to our members throughout the school holidays to children and their families; and during term-time a varied programme of events and guided sessions are offered to schools to support the school curriculum.

It is hoped that the Trust’s education programme will inspire future generations to love and help preserve the wonderful environment in which we live.
