Vacancy - Countryside Ranger
We are currently looking to recruit a Countryside Ranger to help us manage and protect some of Jersey’s most important natural sites including SSI nature reserves and publicly accessible countryside areas.
You will work within our Lands team and alongside volunteers to ensure the conservation and enhancement of wildlife habitats, to maintain safe public access, and engage with the local community to promote environmental awareness. Some surveying/monitoring and public engagement will be undertaken as part of this role but a large proportion of the day-to-day work is based on practical skills. A good level of physical fitness is essential.
This role is based at the Elms, St Mary but will involve working offsite across various Trust sites and locations.
