Fundraising

The threats to Jersey’s wild places and historical buildings are as real today as in the 1930s. Being a local self-funding charity totally independent of the States of Jersey, the National Trust for Jersey is heavily reliant on memberships, donations, and bequests for the funding of its essential programme of repair works, ongoing maintenance, and conservation management. Without our many members and volunteers we would simply be unable to carry on with our important work.

How you can Help

You can help to support our efforts by becoming a Trust member, making a donation, visiting our sites, participating in events, and hiring out one of our properties for your next social event. Businesses are encouraged to consider becoming a corporate supporter of the Trust. We also encourage people to get involved by becoming a Trust volunteer. Here are a few examples:

Group Event Fundraising 30 Bays in 30 Days

Always looking for innovative ways to raise funds for The National Trust for Jersey our fundraising team got together with Jersey Hospice Care to see if there was a challenge event that we could arrange for joint benefit.

We were delighted to be introduced to Lizzi Stonebridge from Guernsey who had been instrumental in successfully organising the first Guernsey 30 Bays in 30 Days event in 2014. Lizzi’s enthusiasm for the event and fundraising for Hospice was infectious so we were delighted when she shared her ideas with us here in Jersey. Hence the 30 Bays in 30 Days event in Jersey was born in 2016.

Throughout the month of July 2016, 30 Bays in 30 Days offered a new and unique challenge in Jersey; the event captured the imagination of a wide section of the community, and has proved to be a successful fundraising event with funds being equally distributed between the Trust and Jersey Hospice Care.

Due to the success and popularity of 30 Bays in 30 Days this has now become an annual event.
