The Georgian House offers a romantic and intimate setting for boutique wedding ceremonies. Each room is an exquisite example of Georgian interior design with authentic furniture, paintings, textiles and carpets. Imagine your wedding day in such an historic and memorable setting.
Couples can choose to marry in the gracious Regency Drawing Room on the first floor, or the superbly appointed panelled Club Room, which also houses a grand piano should the bride and groom require music. Both rooms resonate a very special atmosphere that is in keeping with a traditional wedding ceremony.
You and your guests can enjoy champagne and canapés in the house or drift outside into the small garden, and for smaller parties we can arrange a light lunch or afternoon tea.

We very much enjoyed our visit to this attractive property. The house at 16 New Street was interesting and the National Trust had provided plenty of information about its history and renovation. As an extra bonus two house keepers were demonstrating food of the Georgian period and providing generous scrummy samples for us to try.
