Enjoy: Education - Family Activities

Spring Half-Term (12th - 16th February)

Monday 12th – Friday 16th February
Conservation & Woodland Activities for families

Join Josh, our Senior Education Officer, for some activities that focus on both keeping our beautiful coastline in St. Ouens Bay rich in biodiversity and free from litter and inspire creativity and learn about our woodlands and the wildlife therein. Activities will include beach cleans to clear up
the tidal and marine rubbish that finds its way from the sea and onto the beach and coastal strips; removing the non-native and invasive Purple Dew plant – a succulent house plant that carpets large areas of the coastal strips and out-competes our native coastal plants like rock samphire and sea purslane; and some fun woodland activities in St. Peter’s Valley.
