#LoveNature: The Secret Lives of Herptiles
Friday 29th May 2026, 10:30 AM - 12:00 PM
Adults are invited to join Erin, the Trust’s resident amphibian expert, for a secret look into the fascinating lives of the island’s cold-blooded creatures. Exploring the wild spaces around the Frances Le Sueur Centre, you’ll uncover where reptiles and amphibians hide, how they survive, and what makes them so uniquely adapted to life on the island. Then, get hands-on with an up-close pond-dipping experience-revealing a whole other world beneath the surface, from darting larvae to mysterious aquatic life you might never have seen before.
Whether you’re curious, adventurous, or simply looking for a different way to experience nature, this immersive walk offers a rare glimpse into a secret ecosystem right on your doorstep. All equipment is provided-just bring your curiosity. Clothing guidance will be shared ahead of the event.
Free for members, £10 for non-members
