Inspiring the next generation
Through a range of activities including Rockpool Rambles, Bug Safaris and Woodland Wonders, children and adults alike are invited to discover and learn about the unique flora and fauna that inhabit our Island, plus the effects of climate change and biodiversity loss.
Memorable and fun
We make sure to engage participants' creative and problem solving skills, in order to learn about the natural world in a way that is both memorable and fun.
These events are offered to our members throughout the school holidays to children and their families. During term-time a varied programme of events and guided sessions are also offered to schools to support their curriculum.
It is hoped that the Trust’s education programme will inspire future generations to love and help preserve the wonderful environment in which we live.
Family activities
The National Trust for Jersey’s exciting education programme offers a variety of events and opportunities to our members throughout the year for the young naturalists of tomorrow to discover and learn about Jersey’s natural and historic environment.
Regular sessions include Woodland Wonders, Bug Safaris, Shark Egg Hunts and Rockpool Rambles. Through these workshops children will learn about and explore our island's rich habitats and the wildlife that resides there.
