A generational challenge
Climate Change is one of the biggest challenges of our generation: the Earth is getting hotter, weather patterns are changing, glaciers are melting and sea levels are rising. Populations, communities, and the animal kingdom are being affected by our contribution to Climate Change.
Curriculum-linked workshops
The Climate Change workshops consist of three (half hour) activities and are designed to last 1.5 hours. Available venues: various NTJ woodlands – In-school, The Climate Hub at Quétivel Mill (CURRENTLY BEING REFURBISHED AND NOT READY FOR USE UNTIL APRIL 2024), The Wetland Centre.
The school curriculum-linked activities are split into 3 main areas:
With the generous sponsorship of Jersey Electricity the Trust is able to not only create these wonderful educational activities, but to also provide them free of charge to schools and home-schooled children.
